- Create high-quality materials and textures for various in-game assets, including characters, environments, and props.
- Utilize industry-standard software like Substance Painter and/or Mari to create realistic and visually appealing textures.
- Understand the principles of lighting and shading to ensure materials integrate seamlessly into the game environment.
- Collaborate with designers and other artists to ensure materials align with the game's overall aesthetic vision.
- Contribute to the development of the game's art style by experimenting with new techniques and materials.
- Strong understanding of material creation principles and their application in game development.
- Proficiency in a 3D texturing software like Substance Painter or Mari.
- A portfolio showcasing your material creation skills and artistic ability.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning textures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Gain valuable experience working on a real-world game project in a professional environment.
